To copy files to the Datomizer® Vault, https (443) port has to be accessible from your location.

To configure https (443) port to be accessible from your location:

  1. Go to the EC2 Management Console in AWS.
  2. Select Running Instances
  3. If you have more than one Instance running, select the Datomizer® instance. 
  4. Select Security Groups.
  5. Select the Datomizer® (DatomiaNodes) instance. 
  6. Select the Inbound tab.
  7. Click the Edit button.
  8. Click Add Rule to open the following ports:

Amend the IP address from 0.0.0.0/0, where appropriate. This is the IP address from which you are likely to SSH into the (DatomiaNodes) instance. You can use 0.0.0.0/0 at this stage if you do not know the IP address.

 

9. Click Save.

You can now connect your computer or network to the Datomizer® Vault

From your computer or network:

  1. Connect to the IP address of the Datomizer® instance.
  2. Enter the Datamizer® username and password.
